What is Everyday Rewards?
Everyday Rewards is a loyalty program offered by the supermarket chain Woolworths. It allows customers to accumulate points on their purchases at Woolworths stores, when refueling at BP, using an ASB rewards card, or purchasing alcohol from Vineonline.
The points are redeemable for discounts on purchases or for various other rewards, including discounts on fuel purchases, credit card rewards, or special offers from partner retailers.
How do I earn points?
You earn Everyday Rewards points when you shop in-store or online at Woolworths, BP, Vineonline, or when you use an eligible rewards-earning ASB credit card.

Essentially, every dollar you spend equals one Everyday Rewards point. And to earn a $15 rewards voucher, you’ll need to accumulate 2000 points
This works out a 0.75c discount per dollar your spend, or 75c per $100 spend. The vouchers can be redeemed at any Woolworths or BP location in New Zealand.
What are best benefits of Everyday Rewards?
1. Sign-up perks
To attract new members, Woolworths is currently running a bunch of promotions where users can earn extra points and immediate rewards. Here’s a breakdown of all Everyday Rewards sign-up promotional offers:
- 1000 points for signing up
- 20c per litre discount (up to 50L) at BP with your first scan
- 2500 bonus points when you switch to Everyday Rewards with your ASB rewards credit card for two monthly statements (ends March 31)
- Collect 250 points when you link your Everyday Rewards account to BPme (ends July 31)
- Collect 250 points when you link your Everyday Rewards with your Vinelonline account (ends March 31)
2. Member discounts
Just like OneCard, members are eligible for discounts on certain items when they scan their Everyday Rewards card at checkout.
3. Boosts
Boosts are among the most effective methods for members to quickly earn points. These Boost offers are personalised for each user, based on their typical purchases when they swipe their Everyday Rewards card at checkout.
You can locate your current Boost offers by signing into your account. Simply select “Boost” on any item to activate the offer. You have the option to choose just one boost or activate all of your available boosts at once.
What are the downsides of Everyday Rewards?
1. Higher prices
Just because you’re offered a boost on a product doesn’t mean that it’s good value. Many loyalty card specials offered by supermarkets can often be found cheaper elsewhere.
Prices vary across supermarkets and vary week to week. So if you’re offered a 200 point boost (worth $1.50) to purchase a product that’s listed for $1.60 cheaper elsewhere, it’s not a great deal.
2. Lost OneCard rewards
While OneCard members will retain their points during the transition to Everyday Rewards, any accumulated fuel discounts will not be transferred.
Given that OneCard is being entirely phased out in favor of Everyday Rewards, members must migrate to the new loyalty program. Should they choose not to transfer to Everyday Rewards, their OneCard account will be deactivated, resulting in the loss of all accumulated points.
3. Expired points
Bad news for anyone planning to travel overseas or simply wanting to explore different shopping options: your Everyday Rewards points will expire if not used within 18 months.
How to sign up for Everyday Rewards
Signing up for Everyday Rewards is quite straightforward and can be completed online or by downloading the app. If you already have an existing Woolworths NZ online shopping account, you can use the same details to sign in.
Once signed in, you can access your digital card to start scanning when you shop.
Should you prefer a physical Everyday Rewards card, you can order one online through the ‘Account Settings’ button.
