GO Healthy leads supplement satisfaction
Vitamins are essential to healthy body function. Unfortunately, the prevalence of processed foods and our increasingly busy lifestyles has made it difficult to get all the nutrients we need, all the time. That’s why many New Zealanders turn to multivitamins to make sure they’re getting enough of the good stuff.
Our research shows that the majority of New Zealanders who take vitamins believe they do them good. Just over half of respondents – who have purchased and taken multivitamins in the last 12 months – say they feel better when they take them. On the other hand, 36% of Kiwis say they are unconvinced multivitamins work, but like taking them anyway. There is an ongoing debate about the effectiveness of multivitamins, but consumers need to make up their own minds.
Not all multivitamins are the same, and there are plenty of brands out there to pick from. So how do you know which will be best for you? Canstar Blue has endeavoured to find New Zealand’s favourite. To do this, we canvassed the opinions of men and women nationwide, asking them to rate the brand they buy across a number of key criteria. The results are in and for 2016, we are able to announce that GO Healthy has been rated five stars for overall customer satisfaction.
GO Healthy boasts a huge range of multivitamins, categorised into 12 groups designed for certain functions or certain people, with products specifically targeted at men, women and young people. There are also products based around general health, joint health, immune system, weight loss management and more. A full list of products and ingredients is available on the GO Healthy website.

Frequently asked questions
Canstar Blue commissioned I-view to survey 2,500 New Zealand consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported are the results from customers who have purchased and consumed multivitamins in the last 12 months – in this case, 1,058 New Zealanders.
Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands receiving three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10. Not all brands available in the market have been compared in this survey. The ratings table is first sorted by star ratings and then alphabetically. A rated brand may receive a ‘N/A’ (Not Applicable) rating if it does not receive the minimum number of responses for that criteria.
