About Bosch Clothes Dryers

Bosch is a popular brand among Kiwis looking for a new tumble dryer. They did very well in the most recent Canstar Blue customer satisfaction survey, with three, four, and five star ratings across the board.

A brief history of the company

Bosch has been in the appliance game for 129 years now, and it all started from the little workshop of Robert Bosch. His ‘workshop for precision and electric engineering’ was based in Stuttgart, Germany, and was set up in 1886.

Eleven years after the setup of the workshop, the installation of a Bosch low-voltage magneto ignition device was successfully fitted to a motor vehicle. This was the first time that it had ever been done. By 1898, the company had already expanded outside of Germany, with an office being set up in England.

Bosh continued down the path of magneto ignition for motor vehicles for a long time, and it wasn’t until 1933 when they first dappled in appliances. Before then, Bosch had produced a great variety of auto parts, as well as drills, and heating systems. It would be another two and a half decades until Bosch introduced their laundry appliances in 1958.

Bosch has been a part of many industries in their history, from automotive, to agriculture, to appliances, transport, and even health.

The range of Bosch tumble dryers

Bosch offer both vented and condenser dryers, giving you options based on your preference of dryer type.

But there is so much more to these dryers. At only 65 decibels they are quiet machines that are easy to use and allergy-friendly, meaning that they won’t irritate those with asthma or sensitive allergies. Bosch dryers are also gentle, and will dry even the most delicate items with care to leave them soft and luxurious.

They are equipped with a self-cleaning condenser, so you need not worry about clearing fluff from your dryer – the machine does it for you. These dryers are also fast, which means they are able to save you time, energy, and money.  While they are fast, they are also built to reduce vibration, which not only contributes to the quiet running of the machine, but keeps it stable to reduce damage to the inner parts.
